First $ 100 Donation's Thanksgiving Report

We take this opportunity to thank our first donor who donated $ 100 to our Project http://goto.gg/12474. This donation will make a difference in the lives of our 200 orphans in Western Kenya. According to us this $ 100 will be able to feed 10 orphans per meal for 5 days. This is so great. We would like to know our donors by name so that we can thank them in person for their generous donations. These donations are going to enable us train caregivers, provide school uniforms to primary and nursery pupils, pay school fees to Secondary, College and University students. The same donations will enable us scale up our project to great a big impact in Western Kenya. We also would like to know their identities to enable us to be sending to them the updates of what their donations have done. All our donors will be our partners who should know all the achievements and challenges of the project they have donated to. Hence we thank other donors in advance for their donations and spreading the word for the same to other donors to donate.

Progress Report For Our Project to Support Orphans in Kenya

Our Project http://goto.gg/12474 has had a very big impact in the lives of 200 vulnerable orphans we are supporting in Western Kenya through our Orphans Education, Care and Support Programme. We have managed to restore hope in the lives of these children through school fees payment, care and basic needs support. Most of these children were orphaned through the death of their parents in circumstances of HIV/AIDS related diseases.

We feed some of these children at Day Care and Home Based Centres in Western Kenya. We provide Health Care to these orphans. We also provide School Uniform to the same orphans. We make regular visits to the homes of these orphans and provide training to both Day Care Givers and Home Based Care Givers.  We have managed to do this through the donations from our donors. Our project is ongoing. Since the demand is very high, we have to fundraise on regular basis.

That is why we are on GlobalGiving appealing for donors to support us through their donations which will be properly accounted for and updates given to them on regular basis.

Vocational Training Beneficiary Report.

"My name is Purity N. I was born in 1995. I am an orphan who dropped out of school because of poverty. I needed to make ends meet, so after dropping out of school I found work as a house maid. But the conditions in my new job were horrible. I was overworked and underpaid. My employer made me miserable. I thank Bishop Raymond Mutama and the Universal Fellowship Organization for rescuing me from this painful life. The organization made it possible for me to attend the Chepareria Vocational Training Program in West Pokot County, North Rift Valley. The Vocational Training has given me new hope, and I now know how important it is to receive an education. The practical skills girls learn in a vocational program allow them to earn a fair income and to secure their future. I know that the Universal Fellowship Organization’s Vocational Training Program will be a big help to other girls who find themselves in a helpless situation. "
