Asha..Deepa...Empowering the Visually Challenged

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your continued support!!!

We have completed another year of serving visually challenged. With your generous support, we are able to reach more than 80 visually challenged (children+ adults). Our annaul report is ready and it will be out in a few days.

Exams & Results:

Out of 50 children, 48 children appeared for final exams at Asha Deepa from Grade-I to Grade-VII. 46 children passed through the exam and two were not.

Parents Empowerment:

Empowering families of the disabled in turn empowers the disabled themselves. Thus, we at Asha Deepa have initiated various activities that empower the parents of visually challenged viv-a-viz goat for the parents, group & health insurance for the working parents and small enterprises development support.

I am thankful to the donors who have supported. We greatly appreciate all the support you have given us so far and hope that you will be able to help us in for our future projects.

Sincerely,

Sanju Kumar
