Mission

EcoLogic advances conservation of critical natural resources in rural areas of Latin America by promoting sustainable livelihoods that affirm local cultures and by strengthening community participation in natural resource management.

Programs

EcoLogic’s program areas include local water resource management, forest conservation, the establishment of sustainable livelihood alternatives, and the development of opportunities for payment for ecosystem services for carbon and water. We achieve this by building the capacity of local populations, strengthening their local leadership and governance of natural resources, promoting learning exchanges, and providing them with the financial and technical resources needed for long-term success.
