Our hospital manages and provides diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for the children and adolescents with cancer while they get better. When it comes to quality of childhood, education must be a priority. It is a fundamental right of children and adolescents, as well as health – so, to ensure that our patients have access not only to excellent treatment in pediatric oncology, but also to quality education, we created the Escola Móvel (Mobile School) project.
The project is officialized and recognized by MEC, the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Patients are seen individually by our professors in different areas of the Hospital: chemotherapy, hospitalization, toy room and even in the ICU, so that they can adapt to the students' treatment routine.
Thanks to your help, we can continue offering not only the best health professionals, equipment, infrastructure and care, but quality of life as well, so our patients can return safely to their routines and the normal childhood they deserve.
