The project (Alisa Women's farming Project) receive the sum of Nine hundred eighty US dollars ($980) from donors. The project bought eight (8) goats, six (6) sheep and five (5) pigs. These animals were share among projects members and the offspring of these animals were give to other members of the project, till all the members receive their own.
We expect this project to continue benefiting members. Nene Koroma who is one of the head members of the project, says many thanks to donors for supporting their project. She receive one she-goat and said her life has changed automatically, because the she-goat they gave her has is expecting and will be delivering very soon.
We are asking donors to continue supporting this project, so that the project will reach its goal and members of the project will benefit from this livestock.
Quote from Abibu Kanu, care taker of the livestock, said his life has changed automatically has changed. He said to even take care of the animals is a pleasure to him, because for the past years after the war no animal has been in the village.
He made a quote in Temne language: "Or lull, orr lull ko nor yee orr bana"
