Till now CSA has found 150 families for homeless children. These are direct placement through CSA but there were many families who got inspired through various promotional activities run by CSA and inspired to adopt children, we refer this as indirect placements. Adoption process requires some documents, and govt. and judicial system to complete and make it legal.
Sometime families get de-motivated with this lengthy process and give up the option of legal adoption and move to find some other alternatives. This is leading to large number of illegal adoptions. Therefore to promote legal adoptions and to set forth the example for those who adopted the kids successfully through legal process, CSA organized a family get together of such families.
We invited families from Pune to Abhiruchi –a resort place where children enjoyed the magic show, Puppet show along with swings and slides, whereas the parents got the opportunity to mingle with each other and to share their experiences. Every one enjoyed the lunch together. CSA team was filled with the joy and happiness to see the kids placed in these families were so nicely mixed that no one can guess they are not born to them. I would like to explain this by stating the words of one of the family that “My child is born from my heart!!!! “
