Happy Holidays!

By Rahila Muhibi - Founder and Project Director, December 28, 2009 10:56 AM

Dear Friends,

On behalf of 100 Mothers Literacy Program, I would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May your Christmas and the New Year be filled with much joy, happiness and success.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support to100 Mothers Literacy Program since its establishment in the winter of 2008.
This winter 100 Mothers Literacy Program started its third term of literacy courses. As you know economic sufficiency is another key factor to women's independence. Although, our main focus will still remain literacy. Therefore, we have also produced some sample of scarves that mothers will make as soon we receive some professional feedback.
We are committed to do anything we can to improve women’s situation in Afghanistan. There is so much to be changed about women’s condition in Afghanistan. Thus, it’s necessary for 100 Mothers Literacy Program to grow and improve its capacity as a small organization to meet women’s basic needs and rights. We look forward to your continued support in the coming year as we continue our efforts.

Happy Holidays!

100 Mothers Literacy Program update

By Rahila Muhibi - Founder, July 29, 2009 10:20 AM

I am very happy to announce that we just finished the 6th month of literacy courses with 60 mothers. Since, we work in the very remote areas of Afghanistan, the villagers are nomads and its their travel season; therefore, we will not be holding any literacy courses till October 2009. However, we are working very hard to organize the upcoming literacy classes with alot of energy.
As we progress in our endeavors, the updates will be made.
