Mama Hope Health Clinic is the only community-run health clinic in 500 miles and serves 120,000 people whose communities have been destroyed by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Launched in August 2008, the clinic needs continued funding to pay for local staff and buy medications for diseases like malaria, AIDS, and tuberculosis. Overhead funding is also required to provide both free and affordable services to people who either cannot afford government hospital costs or are turned away because of stigma towards their illnesses.

Providing free access to HIV/AIDS medications will prolong the lives of parents suffering from HIV/AIDS and result in less orphans and more children in school. People will have the tools and vaccinations that will prevent the disease from spreading.
