More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Women in the program will not only earn an income that will benefit their families, they will also be contributing to stabilizing the current food crisis ensuring that communities take in higher levels of nutrition and health. By using the land, and all available resources, the women will learn valuable trade skills, which can then be passed on to other members of their community and carried on well past their graduation from the program.

Activities

By learning how to use the most of the land, when to best plant crops, how to tend to those crops, and taking their goods from the ground to the market, over 3,000 women will learn basic agricultural job skills.
