This project provides digital inclusion to 60 poor children in a village in Yumbo, Colombia, improving the quality of education through the use of computers, Microsoft Office tools and software.
Yumbo, Colombia is a small village whose population lives under poverty. With little investment in education, children attending 4th and 5th grade face the following challenges: limited access to ICTs and insufficient math/science skills that are required for them to attend middle school. We seek to provide these vulnerable kids access to computers in order to strengthen their competencies in math and science subjects, ensuring their admission to secondary education.

This project will serve 60 children directly and 900 people indirectly closing the digital gap that exists between children in rural areas and children from the city. Digital inclusion and math education will help them access secondary education.
