Why this Project is Important

Potential Long Term Impact

Over 5 years the equipment funded by this project will allow us to conduct 2,000 - 2,500 patient visits. We will have a significant positive impact on the health and well-being of the communities we will serve.

Project Message

In rural communities where we have not yet established a health clinic, our Mobile Medical Camps will deliver critically important health care to those who simply have no other medical care available.

Latest Update from the Field

Returning to Nepal in October 2008

By Jenn Spradlin - Assistant Director, August 07, 2008 06:19 PM

Our popular "Moving Medical Camp" provides basic healthcare and medical treatment. Our volunteer medical team will trek deep into the rural countryside on the Langtang Trail and bring along with us the equipment and supplies needed to stay several days in villages and conduct health clinics.

Our next trip for 2008 will be on October 6th thru 19th. Visit www.trek4good.org for trip information.
