Project Needs and Beneficiaries

MIA has requested support from MBAs Without Borders with 2 MBA volunteers. One to provide support with their current fundraising strategy and another to bring a management perspective to MIA's current training material.

Activities

One MBA volunteer will be responsible for: 1. Running training events; 2. Helping to devise a fundraising and business development strategy; 3. Assist with grant applications The 2nd MBA will support the training and research of MIA.

This project was successfully completed. Our MWB MBA, Parker Harvey from Thunderbird School of Management completed the project in 2007. He provided financial and strategy planning to Micro Insurance Academy to empower women and families to gain access to affordable insurance policies.
