More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesBy making funds available to cover at least a portion of the major costs involved with service assignments abroad for American professionals, VFPServ will help to ensure greater numbers of volunteers, thereby extending the reach of Volunteers for Prosperity (VFP), an initiative established by President Bush on September 25, 2003 to encourage skilled Americans to serve others in need around the world and support the nation’s global health and health prosperity agenda. ActivitiesVFPServ provides grants to partner organizations to assist skilled Americans who wish to volunteer abroad.
