More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesAccording to a Sept. 12 UN report, 3 out of 4 Palestinians now live in poverty, NEF food packages ease burdens of unemployment and rising cost of living for most needy living in our West Bank project area & Gaza during what should be a joyous time together. ActivitiesIn cooperation with local Islamic "Zakat" (alms) committees, the most needy are identified & food packages are distributed, again with local people. Food packages each contain about $50 worth of basic foods like dairy products & protein-rich beans. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $450 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled $450. The original project funding goal was $10,000.
