More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe Project looks to address HIV/AIDS, education & health awareness as well as conflict resolution to the children & community in Lira. Children have witnessed and participated in the abduction, murder and sexual assault on people and the camp environments have no avenues of play that can unite children together in a fun and enjoyable setting. Continued provision of sports and Health, HIV/AIDS and Education awareness to children shall achieve the long term impact of community cohesion. ActivitiesThe children are taught the value of education & the need to stay in school.They are also given information on HIV/AIDS & other health issues. In conflict areas, team sports encourage togetherness, breaks barriers & easily mobilizes many people.
