Our youth from different locations struggle to come for skills learning. CHHASE is unable to provide transportation to poor youth for life changing skills trainings like Sewing, Embroidery, Artificial jewel making, beautician trainings. They want secured life with their own earnings. Providing transport for these youth is our greatest challenge, with van, we will be able to increase program access. We believe skills trainings are better opportunities to earn. Won't you?
Lack of access to transport is one of the biggest barriers standing in the way of many rural youth's ability to participate in life-changing skill programs. Most youth programs limit their reach to specific neighborhoods & schools because the issue of limited & non availability of transport is so daunting in the rural area. We are committed to serving youth from all over the rural area--which means we will pick up youth 2-3 times to our skill learning center and leave them after training.
For the last 5 years, CHHASE has relied on the public bus transport to pick girls up from all over the region. We have also needed to charter expensive vans and buses in order to transport girls to our programs. Now that we are serving over 200 girls from all over the region, these bus transport methods are no longer sufficient. We need at least 2 hired vans to pick girls up and leave back. The van will ensure that 60 previously unreached girls will have access!
CHHAASE aims to improve economic status of women and their families through business skills and eucation. The secret of training is to empower, restore and regenerate women and improve their status. Last two years, we provided training to 600+ women & youth
