Support Annet's Education

Nov 16, 2012

Thank You, Annet's Hero!

Annet has a special message for just for you!

You have provided Annet with the best gift of all: the gift of an education. Thanks to you, Annet is one step closer to graduating, and one step closer to creating a better life for herself. Even though you are miles apart from each one another, Annet would like to thank you herself!

You have made all of this possible-- thank you for all that you have done for Annet! This holiday season, our goal is to match all of our students with a supporter, much like you are with Annet. On Giving Tuesday (November 27th), Microsoft has generously agreed to match all donations at 50%. Additionally, all recurring donations made during the month of December will be matched 100%. These are great opportunities to introduce your friends and family to this rewarding experience-- please take some time to share your stories with them to inspire them!

If you would like to send Annet a letter, please send your correspondence to Just include her name in the subject line, and we’ll make sure that she knows that she has supporters cheering her on.

You are a hero-- thank you!

About Project Reports

Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.

If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.

Microproject Disclaimer

Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Educate Girls Orphaned by HIV/AIDS in Rural Uganda. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.

If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.

Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
