Help DARE Network staff travel safely

Dashing through the Mud
Dashing through the Mud

Dear Friends

Thank you for donating to our Microproject on Global Giving.  Your kind donations will go toward the purchase of safety equipment for our truck that takes all the supplies and support to our 60 workers and hundreds of refugee clients and volunteers in the 5 camps on the Thai Burma Border.  The rainy season is upon us and the mountain roads are slick with mud. We are driving very carefully indeed and sometime taking boats up the Salaween River to reach the camps.

We still need a little more support for this project but soon we will be able to add the equipment to our vehicle.

from all us at DARE Network

Microproject Disclaimer

Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Rebuild Flooded Burma Refugee Camp Recovery Centre. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.

If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.
