We’d like to thank you for your support of Shane and children like him who have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan's devastating effects.
Children with developmental disabilities like Shane are particularly vulnerable after a disaster. They are less able to cope with change and meet their own needs. Before the disaster Shane got the therapy he needed at the Aram Learning studio. But now, the school is closed, leaving Shane and other children with disabilities without the support they need.
But thanks to you, the school's teachers will be able to restart therapy for him. These short-term sessions will give Shane the support he needs until the school re-opens. Thanks so much!
We’ll keep updating you on Shane and his classmates right here on GlobalGiving. If you ever have any questions about how we're using your donation, please email Emma@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
Thanks again, and very kind regards!
