Luberizi Shoes Have Been Funded!

Shoes and socks coming to these kids soon, thx 2U!
Shoes and socks coming to these kids soon, thx 2U!

Thanks to each and every donor for having funded this important microproject. Because of your generosity, the kids at the Luberizi school will soon have shoes (covering the feet) and socks to wear, which is especially important since four of the classrooms are without a roof and construction debris is expected once repairs are under way.

We have another microproject to provide backpacks for these kids so their new math kits, pencils and pens, and notebooks can be contained in one place. Please search for "Backpacks 45 Congo" here on GlobalGiving and our project will be at the top. We are hoping to reach full funding soon before the deadline passes.

Thank you once again for having funded the shoes for our 45 Luberizi students.

About Project Reports

Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.

If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.

Microproject Disclaimer

Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Educate 130 Children of Rape Victims in DR Congo. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.

If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.
