Project Update from EcoFriendly Volunteers

"Nature Kids" - an interactive programme to educate urban kids on Natural Environment within fast developing urban setup. Nature kids is a weekly run educational programme for kids aged between 3-12. It has been running on every Thursday since its started on 7th of May and we started with 6 kids and now we have over 80 kids registered and we get average of 30 kids per week.
As a continuous activity we have started creating butterfly and bee gardens among few selected families. So the kids who come to "Nature Kids" and learning more about herbs, plants and organic gardening with their parents while they are making the Butterfly and Bee garden. We won a small grant of USD 5000 for these activities from Kate Stokes Memorial Award based in UK for an year but we are still trying to raise funds for the same work for youth.
