Challenge

Zuri is a very sweet bird who loves to toddle around on the floor, get head-scritches, and hang out with her people. Zuri needs a new home, one that can love and care for her as a part of their family for the rest of her life. Before Mickaboo can find her that new home, we need to address Zuri's veterinary needs.

Solution

This project will help pay for Zuri's veterinary care.

Long-Term Impact

Mickaboo has over 400 birds like Zuri in our care, most of whom come to us injured, abused, or neglected, or are very ill. We provide them with the medical attention they need to survive and thrive, and then find new "forever families" for these birds. Those who surrender their birds to us are assured their former pet birds will receive the care and human interaction these intelligent, social creatures deserve.
