Help pay office rent for LGBT Voice Tanzania

We're so excited to bring you this report from our office in Dar es salaam, it is because of your generous support we were able to pay the office rent for a duration of 6 months from April 1,2015 to September 30,2015, now we have a space to serve the LGBT community in Tanzania effectively. Because of your sucrifice LGBT Voice now has an office space and now confidently running a  campaign to prevent the passing of a new bill to suppress the rights of LGBTI people.

Meet Khalfan and Mabula with their stories to the donors who have made it possible for LGBT Voice to have this good office space?

Yuri:  I was rejected by my parents, thrown of out of my home, expelled from school and lost hope, then I a friend of mine referred me to LGBT Voice Tanzania, made it to the office and they received me, provided accommodation and all the support I needed. I am glad that through people who care LGBT voice Tanzania was able to pay for the office which is big enough  for  the gay youth to meet organize campaigns, receive free condoms and lubes, obtain sponsorship to attend vocational training, learn english, attend counselling sessions, read books and watch videos and get more information about what other LGBT organizations are doing.  It is my prayer that our organization get a permanent office so that we won`t worry about rent anymore.

Mabula:  When my parents kicked me out of thier house, I felt like I was going to die the next day but things worked differently after coming here at LGBT Voice, I`m now happily building my life because of the generous support for individuals out there. LGBT Voice has offered  the best solutions to my problems.

At LGBT Voice we do believe that yourpartnership has brought us this far and will keep us going for many years to come
