Because of your generosity, we were able to get Violet and Mateo into a hotel last night and this morning they are on their way back to the USA on the bus. Violet wanted to be back home for Christmas and you made her dream come true! Here is a note from Violet.
"I can't believe it. I feel like I am in a dream. A good dream, not a nightmare like what we have been living through. I don't know how to begin to thank all the people that helped me and Mateo. Please thank them for saving our lives. I will never forget them and I will keep them in my prayers."
We help hundreds of battered mothers and their children every year. If you like the work we do please consider becoming a recurring donor to our parent project, Help Rescue 500 Battered Women And Their Children, between December 20th and December 31st and Global Giving will match your December donation 100% as long as the recurring donation lasts four months.
If you give $25 a month for four months, your $100 becomes $125!
We sincerely thank you for your support and wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday.
