Leandro is a sweet and energetic 3 year old, who loves to play. However Leandro had never been able to take his first steps due to a rare birth defect he was born without one of his legs. With your help Mahavir Kmina provided him with a prothesis so he can now learn how to walk, play and grow strong everyday.
Words cannot express happiness like the one we witnessed when little Leandro got his prosthesis. He had been dreaming and asking his mom about it for months, thanks to you, that day finally came and Leandro is able to stand, walk, play and more importantly develop his muscles. We are beyond grateful to our donors. Through your help Leandro will play soccer with his father for the first time and learn how to climb trees and ride a bike in the near future.
With your help, we were be able to provide Leandro with a prosthesis that will further his development, give him the opportunity to strengthen his muscles and grow strong and independent. Having his first artificial limb will allow him to take his first steps and enjoy childhood experience like any boy his age.
Our beneficiaries have wonderful stories. Tales of courage, determination and above all, hope. Every day we meet incredible people, we witness how they overcomes impossible circumstances. Thanks to your donation Mahavir Kmina can help people recover not only their mobility but also their sense of worth. We thank you for your donation and invite you to support us in our future projects so we can give children like Leandro a brighter and happier future.
