Only One Week Left!

By Sheena Thiruselvan | Communications Associate

Learning about different endangered animals
Learning about different endangered animals

We are only one week away from our deadline, and still have over $1,700 to raise! We hope you'll help us reach out goal as we try to send 75 chilren on trip this fall. The kids have already had their in-class lessons, and are really excited to see the animals in person!

These field trips to PTWRC offer unique, hands-on environmental education to children and adults who would not otherwise have access to these kinds of experiences. The trips to PTWRC reinforce what is taught during KE classroom lessons and outreach events. In 2013, Kouprey Express signed a new MOU with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in Cambodia that enables Kouprey Express to conduct lessons, capacity building, and public events in Phnom Penh and Kampong Som, in addition to the lessons they were already providing in Koh Kong. This means that quality environmental education and interactive PTWRC field trips can be expanded to more youth and adults in Cambodia!

Education about natural resource management and sustainable livelihoods is virtually non-existent in Cambodia. Change this by donating to send 75 Cambodian to Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center on a three-day, two-night educational field trip! Every dollar counts, and your gift will help underprivileged, rural Cambodian youth attain quality education!
