This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Wisly. 11 year old Wisly's dad died in the earthquake, leaving his mom to look after ten children. She couldn't provide for them, so she abandoned Wisly and two of his brothers at the orphanage. Wisley is one of the orphanage's most out-going kids - he LOVES posing for photos. He's also doing really well in school. But without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Wisly's future will be bleak.
Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Wisly may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
