We are so excited to share with you David's great news! This active and energetic 7th grader, who loves to ride his bike everywhere, but couldn't due to a terrible accident that shattered his leg, now has the chance to ride his bike to school again, with his new leg!
Thanks to your generosity 16 year-old David, can return to his montainous hometown of Barrancabermeja with a brand new prostheses that will allow him to do something he though would never be posssible, riding his bike to school with his friends. Since he got his new leg his mother says that he is happier and wants to go back to school!
With your help Mahavir Kmina provided David with a new leg, and any other he needs when he grows up and his body changes. The new leg is allow him to ride his bike again, even do his old tricks and more importantly ride to school everyday! This new leg is not only giving David the opportunity to live a normal life and continue walking towards his dreams, but will help him get his self-esteem back and recover his independence and happiness.
David said to us the day we fitted his leg "I want to thank everyone that help my dream come true, all I can say is God bless and thank you for helping do what I love most again"
