This is the time to learn other skills
By Beatrice Vanaja | Chief Administrative Officer
Greetings dear donors!
We had an interaction with the parents of the children in Devarayaneri. Most of the mothers want to educate their children unliike them. Alamelu's mother wants her to complete atleast the school final. Sathyaraj's mother says only after her children started going to the coaching class they are studying well. Earlier she will be called by the school teachers often and warned about the poor performance of the children. Now there is tremendous progress in their studies and they do their home work properly and doing well in their exams.
The annual exams are over now and the children are happily spending their time playing, dancing and singing. The coaching class teacher gives them simple exercises to improve their language skills in English. Hence the children are utilising their holiday time to acquire additional skills.
We thank the donors for helping us pay the salary of the teacher and this helps us continue the coaching class for these deprived/secluded children. We request you to spread words about the project to likeminded people in your friends and relatives as your words are countable for them.
Thanking you for your continued support!
