Thanks to each one of you for being 'someone who cares'. Your donation has allowed us to provide scholarships for every camper in financial need so that they are able to attend Camp Shout Out: Youth Who Stutter.
Many of our campers who need financial support have limited resources at home. Often school personnel step in and help with the application process and are vested in the success of their student. One new camper, “Dan” entering his senior year of high school would not be able to attend this session of camp were it not for the dedication of his school based speech pathologist and caring people who donated to the scholarship fund through Global Giving.
When we told “Dan” and his speech pathologist that we would be able to provide a scholarship this is the email we received back from Dan:
“I am overjoyed that I will be able to attend Camp Shout Out this summer, I have never met another person who stutters and I believe this program is a perfect match. I can’t wait, thank you so much for everything.”
We know that Camp Shout Out will change “Dan’s” life and we also know this would not be possible without your support.
We hope you will continue with us on this journey as together, we help change the world for children who stutter, and help children who stutter change the world!
