This project will provide a full year of education for 10 year old Mudolene. Mudolene arrived at the orphanage in 2010 with her two brothers. Her dad made the heart breaking decision to leave her in the orphanage after his wife died in the earthquake, leaving him with eight children to care for. Mudolene is a bright, cuddly child who loves to play with her brothers. With your help, we'll be able to provide her with the education she needs to build a secure future.
As an orphan, Mudolene is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There are no free schools in Port au Prince available, so the orphanage must employ its own teachers and run its own school. Lack of education locks kids like Mudolene into a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only helps Mudolene, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.
Mudolene has lived her whole life in poverty. She needs a quality education to find a prosperous future. Your donations will give her that education and set her on the road to a brighter tomorrow.
Access to education will give Mudolene the skills she needs to find a stable job and escape poverty when she's older.
