A month of food for 27 orphans!

$895 $0
Raised Remaining

One of the biggest needs of the children at the orphanage is nutritious food. Good food keeps the kids healthy, learning, and underpins the kids' healthy growth. Your donations on this page will provide a month of food for all the children in the orphanage's care.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, kids like Germina may have to go without. Ten month old Germina was brought to the orphanage when she was just two days old after her mother died giving birth to her. Your donations keep this beautiful baby eating the healthy food she needs to grow up!

How will this project solve this problem?

Potential Long Term Impact
