Build victory gardens for 200 Ethiopian students

Water will be harvested to develop a victory garden to grow fruits and vegetables for food and income in a demonstration site in the Ethiopia. We have already planted 900 apple trees in the village of Atebes. The gift will be used to strengthen the surface water harvesting system. A special focus of the project is to train young people (students) to grow their food on the land and cope with drought and climate variability. This will be done through training and demonstration.
