The World Affairs Council of Orange County is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization that serves as the focal point of the community's education on and interest in international affairs. Its mission is to educate and inform its members and community citizens on important and critical issues concerning world affairs. It provides a variety of programs and services to individuals, schools, corporations, and organizations. It supports the community's civic, social professional, business, cultural and educational organizations in their international efforts. The centerpiece of the Council's activities is its Speakers Program that brings some of the world's top international figures to Orange County. These leading figures address Council members and their guests, usually at its dinner meetings, and then interact with the attendees during a question and answer session.
