Taiwan Digital Talking Books Association (TDTB)

Our mission is to develop and promote DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) format in Taiwan to enable people with acquired visual disabilities equal access to information and knowledge. Our goals include to produce talking books in DAISY format, to train visually impaired people to access computers and internet with screen reader of NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access), and to provide people suffering from visual loss with vocational training and counseling.

NVDA Conference

One of our guests who comes from Malaysia was asking the question in the NVDA conference.

NVDA Conference

TDTB held a NVDA conference last year. We invited the project leader of NVDA, Michael Curren, to Taiwan. Also, we invited many visually impaired people to the conference to share their feedback about NVDA.

volunteer training class

TDTB organized a volunteer training class. In this class, we invited experienced broadcaster to teach volunteers how to record a talking book.
