Bpeace

Bpeace believes the path to peace is lined with jobs. We work with entrepreneurs in conflict-affected countries to scale their businesses, create significant employment for all, and expand the economic power of women. More jobs mean less violence.®

Race to Innovation Ends and is a Success

In June, 5 Bpeace volunteers travelled to Afghanistan and met with the Afghan Race to Innovation finalists and welcomed them into the Bpeace three-year program. Sora will be coming to the U.S. in October 2010. While here, she will visit with host companies in their field. This program is partially sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Almost 200 donors supported the Race to Innovation Afghan finalists, not only providing financial support directly to the finalists, but also giving them tremendous exposure and the encouragement to take their businesses even further. Congratulations to all the finalists and thank you to our voters for your support!
