Mission

Mission: AFAWI seeks to ensure equitable development for both rural inhabitants and poor urban dwellers, especially women and children. Vision: To create an enabling environment for the vulnerable in society, especially women and children.

Programs

AFAWI has undertaken a number of development projects over the years. Some of these have centered on youth and women empowerment, community and human resource development. Among the number of projects taken by us include a Malaria Control Project, educating young women about menstrual hygiene, and a programme aimed at curbing Discrimination and Stigmatization of Persons Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). We also run a Teen Club through a local junior high school.
