Programs

Upenyu is currently working on two programs in Zimbabwe. Upenyu, in collaboration with local and national leaders, will begin the country's first schistosomiasis control program. In phase one, we will implement mass drug administration in schools, for the nearly 30,000 people living around Nyadire Mission Hospital. Upenyu is also supporting the training of hospital nurses and community health workers in Nyadire to assist with malnutrition in rural satellite clinics and communities.
