Operation ASHA

The mission of Operation ASHA is To eradicate TB from India, and To provide health care and supportive services to the most disadvantaged. The vision of Operation ASHA (OpASHA for short) is a tuberculosis free world. OpASHA provides comprehensive treatment, education, counseling and prevention of tuberculosis in urban slums. Having virtually eliminated default, established a cost-effective and replicable model, Operation ASHA plans to establish 600 DOTS centers by 2013.
