Mission

To enhance the lives of St. John Residents and visitors. Our goal is to provide program and financial oversite for any St. John project approved by our Board of Directors

Programs

Our current programs include St. John Dial-A-Ride (20 years running), Using Sport for Social Change, St. John Film Society, St. John Recycling, JOY Volunteer Network, Friends Helping Friends Revolving Fund, and other projects. Our ongoing long range goals include an ongoing collaborative assessment of the needs of our community and productive partnerships with other service providers to make sure identified needs are addressed. Other long range plans include the cultivation of community assets including people, organizations, programs, and resources to effectively respond to changing needs of the community now and for future generations, including but not limited to development of a Community Cultural & Educational Garden Park, food bank, clothes closet and a year round program of life skills and career development for youth and adults.
