Hand Pumps Urgently Needed.

Greetings once again to our cherish donors and friends in this New Year. We have being working hard from the beginning of this year to complete the four (4) new wells under construction for the target beneficiary communities to access clean water as early as possible. We have manage to complete the excavation works, lining of the wells with concrete bricks and molding of the top covers with other concrete works on the wells. What we are left to do is fixing of the pumps and the Hand Dug Wells shall be ready for use. The beneficiary communities are eager to see the wells completed in the shortest possible time. We are therefore appealing to our cherish donors and friends to donate generously to make this possible.

Hand Pumps Needed To Complete Work On New Wells

TRYAWCO is once again greeting all of you for helping us to reach this far with our project. The last three moths have been very challenging with work on the hand dug wells. However, we have been able to seal through with work on four additional hand dug wells almost completed. To complete this wells we need four hand pumps urgently to fit on the wells for the beneficiary communities to have access to clean water. The beneficiary communities are eager to see the wells completed before the dry season sets in.

Janet Boateng a 43 years old lady farmer in one of these communities is very anxious to see the hand well fitted with a pump in place before January 2012 to avoid the problems they go through during the dry seasons. Her hope and that of other women beneficiaries is to see this come true. We are therefore appealing to our cherish donors and friends to donate generously to make this possible.

Christmas is just around the corner and I just wanted to say "Thank U" & that....It's been a pleasure receiving your donations this past year for a good cause...Hope you & your family have a wonderful Christmas Holiday &... A Happy New Year.

1500 people in rual Twifu are now accessing clean water

Greetings once again from TRYAWCO to our cherished donors, we hope all of you are in good health. We are also well and have been working hard since October last year to improve the lives of our people by providing clean water to the identified communities with your donations.

Work on the additional four hand dug wells that started in the last quarter has progressed steadily. Work on two of the wells has been completed and about 500 more people in two beneficiary communities are now accessing clean water. This has brought to a total of six hand dug wells completed with donations received from globalgiving, contributions from the beneficiary communities and TRYAWCO. More work still needs to be done to get to our target of twenty hand dug wells and four KVIP toilets before the close of 2011. We are therefore appealing for more donations from you, friends and family. Presently we need two hand pumps by the close of September 2011 to be fitted on two additional well almost completed with concrete lining. We therefore hope this immediate need of two hand pumps shall receive positive response with donations from you all.

All the children, the aged and women in the beneficiary communities are grateful to you all for donating to this project to make it possible for them to have access to clean water. Little Adjoa Doku, 8 years, and the brother Kweku Doku, 13 years, are overjoyed with the clean water facility they now have. To them, walking long distance searching for water especially in the dry season, which most times means th water will not be clean, would now be a thing of the past. They say thank you all.
