International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)

At IDV we believe that to provide meaningful relief and reconstruction assistance to disaster affected communities around the world we have to do more than reconstruct buildings. We need to understand and address the factors that made a community vulnerable to the disaster in the first place. Our work will be organised with these factors in mind so we can effect change that far outlives our presence.

Thanks so much for supporting Bodlina and Bodlyson

Thanks so much!
Thanks so much!

Wow! We can't believe that you funded an entire year of school for Boldlina and Bodlyson with just a few clicks and your amazing generosity. Because of you, we'll be able to keep Boldlina and Bodlyson in school and learning the skills they needs to build a brighter tomorrow.

Boldlina and Bodlyson have been doing really well in school – they haven’t needed even one hour of extra help yet! But if they do, we'll be there, ready to get them the tutoring they need.

We'll be able to support Boldlina and Bodlyson because you chose to give. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose Boldlina and Bodlyson. Thanks so much.

We'll keep updating you about Boldlina and Bodlyson and all their classmates through this project's parent page, Provide a Safe Home for Haitian Orphans. If you ever have any questions about how we're using your donation please don't hesitate to email Emma@IDVolunteers.org. We'd be delighted to hear from you!

Thanks again for making Boldlina and Bodlyson's future bright, and our warmest regards!

Thanks so much for supporting Mark!

Thanks for supporting Mark
Thanks for supporting Mark's family!

Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Mark. Because of your generosity, we’ll be able to stockpile food for him in a purpose built evacuation centre.

That food will be available when the next flood comes and forces Mark and his family to leave their home. Evacuation will never be easy for Mark, but your generosity means that Mark and his family won’t go hungry.

We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Mark, his family, and families like them right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Emma@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!

One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Mark and his family won’t go hungry during floods.

Thanks for supporting education in Haiti!

They
They'll have new classmates soon thanks to you

Wow! We can’t believe that you funded an entire year of school for a child like Sonia with just a few clicks and your amazing generosity.

Because of you, we’ll be able to keep a child like Sonia in school and learning the skills she needs to build a brighter tomorrow. Kids like Sonia have missed school, so sometimes they’re a bit behind. Thanks to your generosity, we’ll be there to provide extra help if it’s needed.

We’ll be able to support a child in Haiti because you chose to give. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose to support education in Haiti. Thanks so much.

We’ll keep updating you about Sonia and all her classmates through this project’s parent page, Break the Cycle of Poverty with Education. If you ever have any questions about how we're using your donation, please email Emma@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!

Thanks again for making a child’s future bright in Haiti, and our warmest regards!
