To unlock the potential of young marginalized Afghans through education as a means to prepare them to fully participate in the society.
Accelerated (students study 12 years within 8 years with AAE) education for the marginalized Afghans who did not have access to education during the years of war or, those who don't have access to education now due to marriage, age or returnees without documentation (in Afghanistan if a student is 10 years old and never had access to education, he/she will not be admitted at first grade. Also young women who are married prior to completion of their high school, are not allowed to be in school). AAE works in 9 provinces providing high quality education for 3000 female and 104 male students.
