The Samstha has also obtained Registration under section 12 A of the I.T. Programs

Projects/Programmes undertaken: Cyclone relief programme. Housing programme for 447 families of Nomadic yanadi tribe and Dalith communities affected by Tsunami, Ogni cyclone/flood relief in AP., Child Care and education, Water, Sanitation and Environmental awareness programmes & Tree Plantation. Problems Addressed and strategies followed; *Problems of the vulnerable children's of the deceased /HIV AIDS victims and broken families. Approach/Strategies adopted; *Identified children through consultations with the slum dwellers. *Need based help to the children in the form of books, uniform, school fee, health care as per the requirement and Rice and provisions/food items on monthly basis given to 12 most vulnerable children with the support of church congregation. II. Shelterlessness among 447 Yanadi Tribe and Dalit families due to Tsunami/Ogni Cyclone in around Machilipatnam. Approach/Strategies adopted. Permanent housing was provided to 447 Yanadi Tribal, Dalith and other weaker sections. *Identified most vulnerable families *Analyzed their problems and issues. *Awareness generated among them about their problems and realities. * Planning meetings organized *Habitation level Committees formed and strengthened. *Regular follow up meeting conducted. *Capacity building programmes organized *Information collected and shared *Mobilized communities to submit their problems to the Government concerned officials and the respective peoples representatives. *Organized people and mobilized house sites and entitlements. *Consulted concerned departments for financial support for providing Housing. *Steps for local resource mobilization *Consulted funding agency representatives and mobilized required help. *Collective action of the people and the strenuous efforts of the organization have yielded the successful results to achieve the task. III.Constructed 250 individual Toilets for the benefit of the children and their families Present Program:"Empowering Dalith and Adivasi Woman through Awareness Generation, leadership promotion and Strengthening Community Governance"
