1. The Golden Baobab Prize: The Golden Baobab Prize is an annual African award established in
June 2008 to inspire the creation of the best kinds of African stories that young people all over the
world will love. It invites entries of unpublished short stories written by African citizens, offers
a monetary award for winning stories and connects outstanding stories with globally-recognized
publishers. The mission of the Golden Baobab Prize is to address the dearth of good quality
African children's literature by identifying African literary giants and producing great stories that will
be appreciated for years to come. 2. Monkey Bread Literacy Agency- Newly established literary agency that represents the most talented and promising producers of African content for children and young adults. The agency connects them to leading publishers and content producers across Africa and around the world. Monkey Bread aspires to catalyze the production of books and multimedia that young people in Africa and elsewhere that children will love for many years to come. We expose talent through local and international marketing campaigns and connect prize-winners with leading publishers and multimedia outlets to produce storybooks amongst other content, that reflect experiences young Africans can relate to. 3. The Goba Entrepreneurs' Hub - an inspiring co-working space where people converge to work and network as they develop ideas and launch projects/businesses. Goba believes that ideas breed better in great environments of great people.
