FEDA (Femmes et Education des adultes) is a not for profit and non-governmental organization created in 2007. It works to provide education and income generation opportunities to women, who as a result of the conflict were denied an education and now, need support to help re-building their lives. Mission

FEDA (Femmes et Education des adultes) is a not for profit and non-governmental organization created in 2007. Programs

FEDA achieves its objectives through education by -Organizing literacy classes in several villages -Availing literacy materials on different topics in different adult literacy centres in villages and hold public library -Raising awareness and conducting campaign and workshops on different issues that are still affecting, discriminating, neglecting, abusing and subordinating women in villages -HIV/AIDS and reproductive health education in villages -Supporting formal education of women/girls, -Opening opportunities of income generating activities through vocational training. -Promoting peace, women's rights and defending women's rights violations and advocating for social justice. FEDA works with: -Illiterate women and girls -Women and girls from poorest settings -Women and girls infected and affected by HIV/AIDS -Women and girls traumatized by the war and armed violence
