Programs

We run our Family Learning and Adult Literacy programmes which break the cycle of poverty by equipping parents with literacy skills they can share with their children. Our goal is to build a free education facility for low income families and underprivileged children aged 6 months to 15 years with no access to local schools. This is the Educate People in Ghana project. Sponsor a Child provides children access to live-saving resources such as clean water, nutritious food, health care, and education. This is the Help Underprivileged Children in Ghana Project. Teen and Young Adults program connects at-risk young Ghanaians with life counsellors and provides them with vocational training they can use to find employment. Through this, we produce and share The Kid's Voice & Young Journalist's Adventure Magazine. After-school programme: creating a safe environment for youth to do their homework, interact with their peers, and engage in learning and social activities that enrich their lives and communities. This is the After School Program project. The Thrift Store is a micro-enterprise initiative and creates a Lifelong Initiative Network (LIN). We offer business education seminars and training for local entrepreneurs and provide initial working capital to people to end the poverty cycle. This is the Lifelong Initiative Network for Gbawe project. Our Exchange Program Fund helps to subsidize accommodation of volunteers and interns. We aim to provide a suitable base to assist us with our projects and gain valuable life & work experiences in Ghana.
