Resolve to make second school term and the next 6 months 2013 as the time of Giving!
As we waved goodbye to the School holiday and welcome the New school term, we hope that you’ll resolve to make 2013 a year of giving. For the next hours you can set up a monthly donation, receive 2013 tax benefits, and have the first month of your donation doubled by Global Giving!
Your monthly donation of just $5 will provide school supplies every month for one of the kids at the orphanage. Or, your donation of $21 a month will pay all education costs for one child every month.
If you can afford a little more, your monthly gift of $25 will put food on the plate, put shoes in her feet of a child like Joy.R. every day.
Joy’s father left their home while she was very young and he is thought to be dead and she was brought to the orphanage when she was just 4 years. She was maltrinutioned and ill, and we weren’t sure if she would survive. But she’s a fighter, and today she’s approaching her 11 birthday. Thanks to donors like you, she’s thriving, and with your support, we’ll help her grow up strong and healthy.
Whether you’re ringing in this quarter of the year with a fabulous party, or watching the ball drop from the comfort of your own couch, we hope you have a lovely evening and wish you the Happiest of the next six months
David’s past paper. Who ever knew he would?
Thanks to the continued support in the past, present and future, of you our donors, your 63 Oprhaned children locally worked hard to produce amazing results in schools this first school term of 2013, of over 200 indigenous children. What is even more special about these results is that many of our children came from different straggling Backgrounds, like David was believed to be dead because he was over Mal-nutrition and his Background tea red down and broke my heart always. through the ranks of the school since the start back in 2010 and we helped them through gradual development to get where they are today, teaching them and share with their new susters and the fellow community, thanks to donations.
Over all the subjects, including Mathematics, English, sciences, dance and drama and PE the averages were very good; kinder: 92%, 1st grade: 84%, 2nd grade: 79%, 3rd grade (photo of David): 80%, 4th grade: 71%, 5th grade: 77% and 6th grade: 79%. One must bear in mind that 4th grade is a huge step up from third grade, so an average of 71% is very respectable.
The fact that the school exists at all is a huge pat on the back for you, our donors, and we thank you now and in the future for your continued support – we are looking ofward and believing God for our own premise for the school, home and a place to play games cheers
We belive and belive to have our own Land for the training centre for our own school!
