Bread Without Borders

Bread without borders orphans support project is a non profit organization working with orphans and vulnerable children living in the sprawling slums of Kisumu City.Extreme poverty and high prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS and malaria in Kisumu in particular the slums where about 80% of the people live below the poverty line has left hundreds of children in this slums prone to hunger, disease, school drop out,child labor and prostitution. Bread was therefore founded to address the above issues.

Programs

To help address the problems facing these children , Bread is currently working on the following programs: Basic education, Health care, Feeding , basic skills in Tailoring, Dressmaking, Carpentry, Shoe making , provision of small money to help the guardians start up small businesses.
