Thousands of homeless children in Lahore, Pakistan, go to bed hungry and grow up without access to education, healthcare, or a safe home. This project will support 500 homeless children and their families with nutritious food, school enrollment, healthcare, clean water, clothing, and livelihood opportunities for their parents. By meeting their basic needs and investing in education, we will help these children escape the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
Over seven million people from Pakistan's homeless and Gypsy communities live in extreme poverty and exclusion. In Lahore, many families survive on unstable daily wages, leaving children hungry and out of school. Many cannot afford food, uniforms, books, or healthcare. Without support, they remain trapped in poverty. Your help can provide food, education, clothing, and hope, giving homeless children the chance to build a brighter future.
Since 2013, Muwakhat Foundation has supported Pakistan's most vulnerable families. This project will help 500 homeless children with food, clothing, healthcare, clean water, school supplies, uniforms, and education. Parents, especially mothers, will receive livelihood support to start small businesses. Together, these efforts will help families become self-reliant, keep children in school, and create a healthier, brighter future.
Over the next three years, 500 homeless children will remain in school, enjoy better health and nutrition, and gain the opportunity to break free from poverty. Their families will build sustainable livelihoods, reducing dependence on charity and creating lasting change. Together, we can transform vulnerable families into confident, self-reliant members of society
